몸통에는 봉황과 모란이 섬세하게 그려져 있다. 봉황은 호화로움과 당당함, 진취적임과 태평함을 상징하며, 모란은 부귀영화를 상징한다. 모란은 꽃이 크고 화려해서 '꽃 중의 왕'으로 알려져 있고, 당나라의 양귀비가 특히 사랑해 정원에 가꾼 일화가 유명하다.
腹部用釉里红细致地画着凤凰和牡丹。凤凰象征着华贵、伟岸、进取和太平，牡丹象征着富贵荣华。牡丹因花朵大而华丽被称为“花中之王”，唐朝的杨贵妃特别喜爱牡丹，侍弄牡丹庭院的故事非常有名。
A phoenix and peonies are delicately painted on the body. A phoenix represents elegance, confidence, promising spirit, and peace, while a peony means wealth and honor. Peonies are known as 'the King of Flowers' since they bloom big and splendidly. Yang Kwei Fei in the Tang dynasty especially loved peonies and kept them in the garden.
