명나라 선덕 연간(1426~1435)에 제작된 향로입니다. 뚜껑에는 고리 세 개가 달려 있으며, 향이 나올 수 있도록 구멍이 뚫려 있습니다. 몸체 양옆에는 손잡이가 하나씩 달려 있고, 바닥에는 동물 형상의 다리 세 개가 있는 삼족 구조입니다. 이러한 형태는 청동기 시대의 유물에서 영향을 받은 것으로 추정됩니다. 향로는 향을 피우는 도구로서 주로 제례나 궁중 의식, 혹은 귀족의 생활 공간 등에서 사용되었습니다. 이처럼 정교하고 화려한 장식의 향로는 상류 계층이 사용한 것으로 보입니다.
전체 표면에는 청화와 유리홍 문양이 조화를 이루며 다채롭고 생동감 있는 색감을 보여줍니다. 향로 상단에는 청화로 그려진 연속적인 뇌문이 돌려 있고, 중앙에는 유리홍으로 붉게 그려진 용 문양이 배치되어 있습니다. 특히 용 문양은 뇌문의 표현처럼 그려져 있습니다. 하단에는 청화와 유리홍을 조합해 그려진 보상화와 당초 문양이 정밀하게 시문되어 있습니다. 세 개의 다리는 동물의 형상으로 성형되어 청화로 채색되었습니다. 이 향로는 바닥에 宣德年製(선덕년제)라는 관지가 있어 청화 자기의 전성기였던 선덕 연간에 제작된 유물입니다.

此香炉于明宣德年间（1426~1435年）制作，炉盖设有三环，并开有透孔，便于香气逸散。炉身两侧各饰朝天耳，下承三兽形足，其形制可见青铜器传统之遗韵。香炉作为焚香之具，常用于宫廷祭祀、典礼仪式，亦或士大夫、贵族的生活空间。此类器物工艺精湛、装饰华美，多为上级阶层所用。
通体施青花与釉里红，色彩绚丽而富于生动感。炉盖环饰青花雷纹，器身中央以釉里红绘龙纹，其形态与雷纹呼应。下部则以青花与釉里红相间描绘宝相花与缠枝纹，纹饰细腻繁复。三兽足以青花为饰，炉底署“宣德年制”款识，可知其为宣德时期青花瓷的代表性佳作。

This incense burner was produced during the Xuande reign of the Ming dynasty (1426–1435). The lid is fitted with three loops and pierced with holes for the release of incense smoke. Handles are attached to either side of the vessel, and the base rests on three animal-shaped legs, forming a tripod structure. Such a form is thought to have been inspired by ritual bronzes from the Bronze Age. As a vessel for burning incense, it was mainly used in ancestral rites, court ceremonies, or in the refined living quarters of the elite. The elaborate and ornate decoration suggests that this piece was intended for use by the upper classes.
The surface is richly adorned with a harmonious blend of cobalt-blue underglaze and copper-red underglaze, creating a vivid and dynamic palette. Around the upper section runs a continuous thunder pattern painted in blue, while a striking red-glazed dragon motif occupies the central band, rendered in a style reminiscent of the thunder pattern. Below, peony scrolls and arabesque designs are meticulously executed in a combination of blue and red. Each of the three legs takes the form of an animal and is painted in underglaze blue. On the base appears the reign mark Xuande nianzhi (宣德年製), confirming that the piece was produced during the Xuande reign, a high point in the history of Ming blue-and-white porcelain.
