코발트 블루의 청색으로 지느러미 달린 커다란 용과 구름이 그려져 있는 이 청화백자 지통은 구연부가 넓으며 입술은 살짝 바깥쪽으로 나와 있고, 어깨에서 몸통으로 약간 부풀려졌다가 굽 쪽으로 내려갈수록 조금씩 좁아지는 형태에 굽은 평평하다.
구연부의 상면에는 간단한 선으로 구름이 연속적으로 그려져 있고, 그 바깥쪽 테두리에는 명나라 가정제(1521~1567) 때 만들었다는 뜻의 ‘대명가정년제 (大明嘉靖年製)’라는 관지가 쓰여 있다. 몸통에는 긴 지느러미를 지닌 다섯 마리의 용이 구름 사이를 날고 있는 모습이 묘사되어 있으며, 하단에는 기면을 따라 파초문이 연속적으로 그려져 있고 굽의 바깥쪽에는 연잎의 변형인 연판문이 반복된다.
该卷缸用钴蓝色绘长有鳍的巨龙和云。口沿部较宽，撇口，圆鼓腹，肩下渐收至底，平底。
口沿部的上端用简单的线条重复绘制云模样的花纹，外侧颈部上署“大明嘉靖年制”的款识，意为制造于大明嘉靖帝(1522~1566年)时期。腹部绘五条长有长鳍的龙在云中飞的场景。底部外连续绘一圈芭蕉纹，外足反复绘荷叶的变形即莲瓣纹。
A blue and white porcelain jar decorated with yinlong (應龍, winged dragon) and clouds in cobalt blue. The mouth is wide open, slightly lipped outwards, and the shoulder marginally broadens towards the body and tapers to the flat base.
The upper surface of the mouth rim is bordered with stylized clouds, and on the outer side is a six-character inscription reading Daming Jiajing Nian Zhi, indicating that it was produced during the reign of the Jiajing Emperor (1521~1567) of the Ming Dynasty. Five long-fined dragons flying among clouds are painted on the body. Plantains are repeatedly painted on the lower body, and lotus lappets encircle the foot.
