양쪽 면이 납작한 육면체 기형에 짙은 코발트블루 청화로 구름 사이를 날아가는 용과 봉황이 그려진 편병이다.
몸체 위쪽에 봉황 두 마리가 있고 중앙에 커다란 용 2마리가 봉황이 있는 하늘을 향해 날아가는 모습이 그려져 있으며, 그 아래에 파도무늬를 그려 넣었다.
작은 원통의 작은 구연부 옆 어깨에는 양쪽으로 두 마리씩 총 네 마리의 이룡(螭龍)이 쌍으로 첩화되어 있다. 이룡(螭龍)은 중국 고대 전설 속의 용의 한 종류이며 뿔 없는 용으로 알려져 있다. 첩화는 따로 모형을 만들어 기형에 붙이는 조형기법을 말한다.
이룡이 붙어 있는 양쪽 측면 저부(底部)의 여백에는 연화문과 당초문이 그려져 있고, 굽 바닥에는 원나라의 도예가 장문진이 1348년에 만들었다는 뜻의 '至正八年六月吉日 張文進(지정8년6월길일 장문진)'이라는 명문이 있다. 가장자리 외곽에 붙어있는 것은 '博陵第(박릉제)'라 쓰여진 관지이며 간판처럼 생겼고 음각과 양각으로 세밀하게 조각되어 있다.
这是两侧扁平的六面体器形上用钴蓝绘在云间飞翔的龙和凤凰的青花扁瓶。
瓶身绘有两只凤凰，中央有两条巨龙飞向有凤凰的天空，其下绘波涛纹。
圆形小口旁的肩上以贴花的技法置四只螭龙。螭龙是古代神话传说中的一种龙，无角。贴花是一种将图案印刷成画，印制到陶瓷上的工艺。
贴有螭龙的两侧底部留白处绘莲花纹和唐草纹。底足上署“至正八年六月吉日张文进”铭文，可见为元朝陶艺家张文进于1348年制作。贴在单边外缘处有“博陵第”款识，形似玉牌，采用阳阴刻。

On each flat side is a pair of dragons above waves, soaring towards a phoenix flapping its wings.
The narrow and round mouth is mounted on the shoulder, flanked by two pairs of applique chilongs. Chilong (螭龍) is one of the mythical dragons in ancient Chinese legends and has no horns. Applique is a pottery technique of making a separate piece of clay to apply to the primary work.
The bottom of the narrow sides are painted with lotus leaves and floral scrolls, and on the base is an inscription reading Zhizheng Banlan Liuyue Jiri Zhangwenjin, indicating that the present work was produced by Zhangwenjin, the potter of Ming, in 1348. A finely carved inscription is on the opposite, reading Bolingdi.
