신선이 바다 위에서 신비한 동물을 타고 떠나는 모습이 오채로 그려진 항아리[罐]이다.
구연부가 굽보다 매우 작으며, 목이 곡선을 그리며 살짝 안쪽으로 들어갔다가 몸통에서 크게 부풀려지고 굽 쪽으로 내려갈수록 조금씩 좁아지는 기형이다. 평평한 뚜껑의 윗면에는 한 나한이 기사회생을 상징하는 파초 잎을 타고 바다 위에 떠 있는 장면을 그려져 있다. 항아리의 목 부분에는 기면을 따라 재생을 상징하는 파초잎이 반복적으로 그려져 있고, 그 아래의 어깨 부분은 부귀영화를 상징하는 모란문이 장식되어 있다. 굽 바닥에는 강희제(1662~1722) 때 만들어졌음을 알려주는 '대청강희년제(大清康熙年製)'라는 관지(款識)가 쓰여 있으며, 독특한 기형과 무늬로 인해 귀중한 유물임을 알 수 있다. 구연부에 마개가 있는 것으로 보아 식초병으로 사용된 것으로 추정된다.
该罐用五彩绘神仙在海上骑着神秘动物离开的场景。
口沿部比底足小很多，束颈，肩下渐收至底，平盖，盖上绘有罗汉在海上骑着象征起死回生的芭蕉叶的场景。罐颈部外壁反复绘象征重生的芭蕉叶，肩部绘象征富贵荣华的的牡丹花，底足署“大清康熙年制”的款识，意为制作于大清康熙帝(1662~1722年) 时期，该罐形状独特，纹样各异，可知价值珍贵。口沿部有盖子，推测是醋罐。
A jar painted with the immortals riding mythical beasts in wucai-style.
It has a mouth narrower than the foot and a waisted neck sweeping to a swelling body tapering slowly to the bottom. On top of the flat rid is a disciple of Buddha floating on the ocean riding a plantain leaf that symbolizes revival. The neck is encircled by upright plantain lappets, and the shoulder is collared with chrysanthemums which symbolize wealth and honor. The base is inscribed with a seal mark reading Da Qing Kangxi Nian Zhi, indicating that the present work was produced in the Kangxi era (1662~1722). The unique form and patterns tell that the vase is a historic relic. The lid suggests that it has been used as a vinegar bottle at the time.
