명나라 8대 황제 성화 (成化 1447~1487) 시기에 제작된 것으로, 구연부가 수직이고 짧으며 어깨는 둥글게 벌어져있고 배 밑으로는 수그러드는 형태의 항아리이다.
굽은 짧고 살짝 밖으로 뻗어 있으며 유약이 묻어 있지 않다. 구연부 가장자리에는 파도무늬가 그려져 있고, 몸체에는 원앙새와 활짝 핀 연꽃, 바람에 흔들리고 있는 연잎 등 연못 풍경이 그려져 있다. 한 쌍의 원앙새가 노닐고 있는 모습을 그린 구도가 섬세하고 정밀하며 청화의 푸른 빛이 화려하다.
연못 원앙은 양자강 이남 지역 경치로 잘 알려져 있다. 주목할 점은 연잎의 화법이 독특하다는 점이다. 연잎 가장자리에 붓으로 점을 찍어 수묵이 퍼지는 효과를 만들어 붓과 먹의 흥취가 돋보이도록 하였다.
该罐制造于明朝第8代皇帝成化(1447~1487)时期，直口，短颈，丰肩，腹以下渐收。
短足，足端微外撇，足底无施釉。罐口绘波涛纹，罐身纹莲池小景，莲花盛开，荷叶随风摇曳，一对鸳鸯游弋其中，构图巧妙，绘制精美，青花发色华丽。
莲池鸳鸯是典型的江南水景。值得注意的是，荷叶的画法较为特别，荷叶边缘一碎笔点染，有水墨渲染的效果，颇具笔墨趣味。
The blue and white jar was produced during the reign of the Chenghua Emperor, the 8th ruler of the Ming dynasty. It has an ovoid body surmounted by the upright rim and tapering to a foot.
The foot is slightly splayed, and the base is unglazed. The mouth is collared with waves, and the body is adorned with a pond scenery with mandarin ducks and lotuses in full bloom swaying in the wind. The composition of the painting of a pair of ducks paddling idly on a pond is subtle and splendid, painted in glamourous underglaze blue.
Lotus pond with mandarin ducks is the representative scenery of the south of the Yangtze River. The thing is that lotus leaves are painted with a unique technique using the hardness of ink. The edges of the leaves are dotted by a brush to make the ink run, which is esthetically pleasing and romantic.
