넓은 구연과 굽, 짧고 곧은 목, 불룩하게 부푼 동체를 갖춘 항아리입니다. 두께감이 있어 안정감 있는 형태입니다.
여백에 모란당초문을 가득 표현하고, 마름모형의 구획 안에는 물고기와 수초를 시문하였습니다. 물고기와 모란은 각각 다산과 풍요, 부귀와 번영을 상징하는 길상적 소재입니다.
바닥을 제외한 전면에 갈유를 입혀 소성한 후, 파라핀 기법으로 문양 부분을 보호하고 황유를 입혀 다시 소성한 것으로 보입니다. 마름모형 구획 안의 문양은 백유로 표현하는 등 여러 단계의 제작 과정을 거쳤습니다.
특히 모란과 물고기, 수초 등의 길상 문양은 황실 유물에 자주 사용되었으며, 황색 또한 황실을 상징하는 색으로 여겨져 사용에 제약이 있었습니다. 황실 및 왕족 계층에서 사용되었을 것으로 추정되며, 유사 유물은 현존하는 예가 드물어 희소성이 높습니다.

罐宽口宽圈足，短直颈，鼓腹。器壁厚实，整体造型敦厚稳重。
器身留白处满饰缠枝牡丹纹，菱形开光内描绘鱼纹与水草纹。鱼和牡丹分别象征多子多福、丰饶，以及富贵与繁荣，均为寓意吉祥的装饰题材。
推测其制作工艺为：先在除底部以外的器身通体施褐釉并烧制，随后采用石蜡技法保护纹样部分，再施黄釉进行二次烧制。菱形开光内以白釉绘制纹样，整体历经多个阶段的制作工序。
尤其是牡丹、鱼和水草等吉祥纹样常用于皇室物品中，黄色象征皇室，其使用人群在当时有一定限制。推测此器应为皇室及王族阶层所使用。与之相似的传世器物十分罕见，稀有性高。

A jar with a wide mouth and foot, a short, straight neck, and a full, rounded body. Its substantial thickness gives it a stable appearance.
The open areas are densely decorated with peony scrolls, while the diamond-shaped panels contain fish and aquatic plants. Fish and peonies are auspicious motifs symbolizing fertility and abundance, and wealth and prosperity, respectively.
The entire surface except the base was first coated with a brown glaze and fired. The patterned areas were then protected with the paraffin technique before a yellow glaze was applied and the vessel was fired again. The motifs within the diamond-shaped panels were rendered in white glaze, indicating that the vessel underwent several stages of production.
In particular, auspicious motifs such as peonies, fish, and aquatic plants were frequently used on imperial wares. Yellow was also regarded as a color symbolizing the imperial court and was subject to restrictions on its use. The vessel is presumed to have been used by the imperial or royal family, and its rarity is heightened by the scarcity of comparable surviving examples.
