구연부와 굽이 넓으며, 몸통이 아래는 넓고 위가 좁은 기형에 ‘S’자 모양의 두 귀가 달린 독특한 형태의 병이다.
목의 둘레에는 학이 구름 사이로 날아가는 모습이 그려져 있고, 어깨 위에는 이 백자를 제작한 연대를 알려주는 ‘대명홍희년제(大明洪熙年製)’라는 관지가 쓰여 있다. 그 아래의 몸통에는 추운 겨울에도 푸른 생명력을 잃지 않고 꽃을 피우는 세한삼우(歲寒三友)를 바위와 함께 그려져 있다.
이 쌍이병은 특히 8개월 남짓 재위했던 홍희제 때 황제의 어명으로 만들어진 희귀한 유물로서 가치가 높다.
该瓶口沿部和底足较宽，器身上窄下宽，颈两侧贴‘S’状双耳，造型独特。
颈部一圈绘在云中飞翔的鹤，肩部署“大明洪熙年制”款识，可知该白瓷的制造年代。瓶底部绘即使寒冬也有顽强生命力，傲雪盛开的岁寒三友和岩石。
此双耳瓶是在位只有8个多月的洪熙帝时期，以皇帝的御令制作的稀有文物，具有很高的价值。
This pear-shaped vase is flanked by a pair of S-shaped handles on the neck rising to a wide mouth, and the body is supported on a splayed pedestal.
Cranes on the front and back of the neck fly among clouds, and the shoulder is incised with a seal mark reading Da Ming Hongxi Nian Zhi, indicating the production year of the present work. Either side of the body is painted with Three Friends of Winter (pine, bamboo, and plum), plants that bloom, keeping their vitality even the cold days deepen into the winter, beside a rock.
This double-handled vase is rare and valuable because it was produced under the command of the Hongxi Emperor who was on the throne for about eight months.
