구연부가 작고 짧은 목에 운기문이 그려져 있으며, 어깨가 강하게 부풀었다가 저부로 갈수록 오므라드는 기형의 매병이다.
정강이에는 청화로 거센 파도가 그려져 있고, 몸통에는 붉은 유리홍으로 용이 푸른 구름 사이를 힘차게 날아다니는 모습이 생동감 넘치게 그려져 있다.
용의 몸통은 구름 위로 노출되어 있고 용의 용맹스러움이 돋보인다.
굽바닥에는 청나라 건륭 시기에 만들었다는 뜻의 '대청건륭년제(大清乾隆年製)'라는 관지(款識)가 푸른색으로 쓰여 있다.

The lower body is painted with crashing waves, and the upper body is with a vigorous copper-red dragon writhing among blue cloud scrolls.
The dragon exposed its whole body, exuding intrepidity.
The base is inscribed with a blue seal mark reading Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi, indicating the present work was produced in the Qian era.
