한 ‘녹유선’, 원 ‘유리홍봉황문유개병’, 청 ‘호박사자’
도자(陶瓷), 먹(墨), 호박(琥珀), 비연호(鼻煙壺) 등 41점
중국의 우수한 문화유산들, 전시장과 온라인에서 감상

배 위 기와집 지붕에 새 한 마리가 앉아 있다. 하늘과 지상을 연결하는 메신저다. 기와집 안 사람들이 창을 통해 바깥 풍경을 내다보는 중이다. 선두에는 선장이, 선미에는 닻과 바람을 이용해 배를 움직이는 돛이 보인다. 당시 왕실 문화와 우수한 선박 제조 기술, 항해 문화를 엿볼 수 있는 귀중한 문화유산이다. 중국 한나라 때 만들어진,바다에 떠 있는 배 모양의 녹유선(绿釉船, 37×57cm)이다.

붉은색 바탕 위에 금으로 하늘을 나는 용을 그려놓은 작은 항아리도 보인다. 다섯 마리의 용이 화염과 구름 사이를 날아다니는데, 그 중 한 마리는 정면을 응시하고 있다. 정면을 바라보는 용은 청나라 황제의 의복과 건축물에 사용된 문양으로, 세상을 지켜본다는 의미를 담고 있다. 항아리의 복부 양쪽에는 작은 손잡이가 달려 있고, 구연부와 손잡이, 짧은 세 다리에는 금이 칠해져 있다. 내부에는 송석녹유가 발라져 있으며, 굽 바닥에는 이 항아리가 청나라 건륭 시기의 것임을 나타내는 ‘대청건륭년제’(大清乾隆年製)라는 관지가 적혀있다. ‘청건륭 묘금용문쌍이소호’(清乾隆 描金龙纹双耳小壶, 10.2×8.5×16cm)다.

한 무녀가 두 손에 빨간 천을 쥐고 고개를 갸우뚱한 채 서 있다. 머리에는 꽃이 그려져 있고, 이마 중앙에는 붉은색 미점(眉點)이 찍혀 있다. 흰색 꽃무늬가 그려진 주황색 옷을 입었다. 춤을 추는 인물을 도용으로 제작한 점에 비추어 음악과 춤이 역사적으로 중요한 문화적 의미를 지녔음을 알 수 있다. 당나라 ‘채도무녀용’(彩陶舞女俑, 높이 39.5cm)이다.

다보성갤러리가 17일부터 24일까지 제9회 중국 문화유산 온라인 경매를 실시한다. 도자(陶瓷), 먹(墨), 호박(琥珀), 비연호(鼻煙壺) 등 다양한 문화유산을 내놓는다. 원나라 ‘유리홍 봉황문 유개병’을 비롯해 원말명초 ‘청화 운룡문 완’, ‘청건륭 묘금 요지성모 사각먹’, ‘청 호박사자’, ‘청건륭 장수 복숭아와 박쥐 비연호’ 등 희귀하고 가치 있는 작품들이 포진했다. 

41점의 출품작들은 경매기간 동안 서울 종로구 경운동 수운회관 다보성갤러리 4층에서 직접 관람할 수 있고, 다보성갤러리 홈페이지를 통해 확인할 수 있다.

다보성갤러리는 반세기 동안 인류 중요 문화유산을 수집해 국내 국공립박물관 및 유수의 사립박물관에 보급해오고 있다. 올해 말 20~30점의 진귀한 유물들을 엄선해 오프라인 경매도 진행할 예정이다.

The auction features items such as a "Green-Glazed Earthenware Model of a Boat" from the Han Dynasty, a "Copper-Red 'Phoenix' Jar with Cover" from the Yuan Dynasty, and an "Amber Figure of a Lion" from the Qing Dynasty. 
There are 41 pieces in total, including ceramics, ink sticks, amber, and snuff bottles. 
These exceptional Chinese cultural heritage items are available for viewing both at the gallery and online.
 

On the roof of the boat, a bird sits, symbolizing a messenger between heaven and earth. Inside the cabin, people gaze out at the scenery through windows. The captain stands at the bow, while at the stern, a sail and anchor are visible, illustrating the advanced shipbuilding techniques and royal maritime culture of the time. This is the "Green-Glazed Earthenware Model of Boat" (37×57 cm), a precious cultural relic from the Han Dynasty.
 

A small jar painted in gold with a flying dragon on a red background also catches the eye. Five dragons soar between flames and clouds, with one dragon staring directly ahead, a symbol used in Qing Dynasty imperial attire and architecture to signify watching over the world. The jar has two small handles on its sides, and gold decorates its rim, handles, and short tripod base. Inside, it is glazed with a pine-green hue, and the base bears the inscription "Made in the Qianlong Period of Great Qing," indicating its origins during Emperor Qianlong's reign. This is the "Gilt-Decorated ‘Dragon’ Pot with Two Handles" (10.2×8.5×16 cm).

This is the "Painted Figure of Female Dancer" (height: 39.5 cm) from the Tang Dynasty.
 

The Daboseong Gallery will hold its 9th Chinese Cultural Heritage Online Auction from October 17 to 24. A variety of cultural treasures, including ceramics, ink sticks, amber, and snuff bottles, will be on display. Highlights include the Yuan Dynasty "Copper-Red 'Phoenix' Jar with Cover," a "Blue and White ‘Cloud and Dragon’ Bowl" from the late Yuan and early Ming periods, a "Gilt-Decorated Ink Stick Depicting the Holy Mother of Yaochi" from the Qianlong Period, a "White Porcelain ‘Longevity Peach and Bat’ Snuff Bottle," and the Qing Dynasty "Amber Figure of a Lion."
 

All 41 pieces will be available for viewing at Daboseong Gallery on the 4th floor of Suwoon Hall, Gyeonun-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, during the auction period. They can also be viewed on the gallery’s website.
 

For over half a century, Daboseong Gallery has collected significant cultural heritage items and supplied them to major public and private museums across Korea. Later this year, the gallery plans to hold an offline auction featuring 20 to 30 rare artifacts.
