‘제10회 중국 문화유산 온라인 경매’, 5일까지

목 양쪽에 원통형 귀가 달려 있어 관이병(貫耳瓶)이라 불린다. 살짝 들어간 목 표면에 볼록한 가로 선이 있어 입체감을 더한다. 이 형태는 고대 청동기 디자인에서 영향을 받은 것이다. 병 전체에 미황색 유약이 두껍게 입혀져 있고, 표면에 얼음이 갈라진 듯한 짙은 갈색 빙렬(氷裂) 무늬가 눈에 띄는데 이는 관요의 특징이다. 관요(官窯)는 역대 왕조의 관청에서 구워진 도자를 뜻한다. 팔각형으로 만들어진 관요 병, ‘북송 관요미황유팔각관이병’(北宋 官窑米黄釉八方贯耳瓶·26×10.3×9.6cm)이다.

양 머리 형태 잔도 눈에 띈다. 상주시대 청동기에서 유래한 형태다. 양(羊)과 상서로움(祥)의 발음이 같아 길조를 상징한다. 양은 정면을 응시하는데, 긴 뿔이 잔의 입부분까지 이어져 있다. 잔 표면에는 청화로 바다 위를 나는 기린(麒麟)을 그려 넣었다. 사선 무늬가 새겨진 사다리꼴 모양의 굽은 높이가 있어 안정적이다. 흔하지 않은 형태와 문양으로, 귀족이나 관청에서 쓰인 귀한 작품으로 보인다. 굽바닥에는 이 유물이 명나라 선덕 시기에 만들어졌음을 나타내는 문구 ‘대명선덕년제(大明宣德年製)’가 적혀 있다. ‘명선덕 청화기린문양머리잔’(明宣德 青花麒麟纹羊角杯·10.8×7×8.7cm)이다.

‘제10회 중국 문화유산 온라인 경매’가 5일까지 열린다.

‘북송 가요청유정식삼족향로’와 ‘북송 여요천청유현문삼족향로’, ‘명선덕 청화유리홍연못풍경문합’, ‘청 호박 하마상’, ‘청건륭 소·여우 비연호’, ‘청 화조도유리비연호’ 등 42점의 희귀한 작품들이 출품됐다. 경매기간 동안 서울 종로구 경운동 수운회관 다보성갤러리 4층에서 직접 관람할 수 있고, 갤러리 홈페이지를 통해서도 확인할 수 있다.

반세기 동안 인류의 중요 문화유산을 수집, 각종 국공립박물관 및 국내 유수의 사립박물관에 보급해 온 다보성갤러리는 내년에 20~30점의 진귀한 유물들을 엄선, 오프라인 경매도 진행할 예정이다.

“10th Online Auction of Chinese Cultural Heritage” runs through the 5th

This vase, called a Guan'erping (貫耳瓶, "vase with tubular ears"), features cylindrical handles on both sides of the neck. The slightly recessed surface of the neck includes a raised horizontal line, adding dimensionality to the design, which draws inspiration from ancient bronze forms. Coated with a thick celadon yellow glaze, the surface shows a deep brown crackle pattern resembling cracked ice—distinctive of Guan ware, which refers to ceramics fired in official kilns for the royal court. The piece is the “A Celadon Yellow-Glazed Octagonal Vase, Guan Ware” (北宋 官窯米黃釉八方貫耳瓶 · 26×10.3×9.6cm).

Also notable is a cup shaped like a ram’s head—a form inspired by Shang Dynasty bronzes. Because the Chinese words for "sheep" (yang) and "auspicious" (xiang) are homophones, the design symbolizes good fortune. The ram faces forward with long horns extending to the rim of the cup. Painted in underglaze blue is a qilin (mythical creature) flying over the sea. The trapezoidal foot is carved with diagonal patterns, giving it a stable base. Due to its rare form and decoration, it is likely a piece used by nobility or in official settings.
The base is inscribed with the mark “Made during the Xuande reign of the Great Ming” (大明宣德年製), confirming it was produced during that period. This is the “A Blue and White ‘Qilin’ Ram’s Head Cup, Xuande Period” (明宣德 青花麒麟紋羊角杯 · 10.8×7×8.7cm).

The “10th Online Auction of Chinese Cultural Heritage” runs until December 5.

All 42 rare pieces—including: “A Celadon 'Ding-Form' Tripod Censer, Ge Ware” “A Celadon Sky-Blue Glazed Tripod Incense Burner, Ru Ware” “A Blue and Red-Underglaze 'Lotus Pond' Covered Box” “An Amber Figure of a Hippo” “A Glass 'Ox and Fox' Snuff Bottle, Qianlong Period” “A Glass 'Flowers and Birds' Snuff Bottle”—can be viewed in person at Daboseong Gallery (4th floor, Suwoon Hall, Gyeonun-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul) or through the gallery’s official website.

Having spent the past half-century collecting invaluable cultural heritage items and supplying them to national and private museums, Daboseong Gallery announced plans to curate 20–30 extraordinary artifacts for an offline auction next year.
