나무 골재에 장지를 발라 마감한 목골지장(木骨紙欌)으로도 불리며, 4층의 수납장으로 구성되어 있다.
각 층에는 여닫이문을 분리할 수 있는 경첩으로 연결되어있으며, 층마다 3×4칸 살의 합문을 사방에 두어 내부와의 공간감을 자아냈다.
기둥과 판(板)은 참나무로, 창살은 소나무로 제작하였다.
전체적인 비례와 균형미가 돋보이는 작품이다.

The bookshelf is composed of four storage compartments. Each compartment has hinged doors that can be separated using hinges, and each layer features a 3x4 grid of framed lattice doors on all sides, creating a sense of space within.
The pillars and panels are made of the oak tree, and the window grilles are crafted from pine tree.
