조선시대 선비가 사랑방에 놓고 책을 보관했던 아름다운 3층 책장이다.
각 층마다 여닫이문이 쌍으로 달려 있다. 양쪽의 옆판과 뒷쪽은 전통한옥에서 볼 수 있는 창살의 간격이 비교적 넓은 범살형의 문살로 이루어져 있고,
창살의 뒤에는 여느 가구의 나무판 대신 한옥의 문처럼 공기가 통하는 한지로 막아져 있다.
이 때문에 안쪽에는 공기가 흘러 습기나 곰팡이가 생기지 않아 책과 같은 귀중한 소장품의 손상을 막을 수 있다.
선조들의 지혜와 멋이 느껴지는 실용적이고 아름다운 문화유산이다.
이러한 삼층책장은 현대의 반듯한 건축공간에도 잘 어울리는 현대적 감각을 갖추고 있다.

各层都有双门，两侧木板和后侧是传统韩屋形式主城。
和其它的区别是窗棂后面没用木板，用韩纸，有助于通风，里面不会发霉，书和贵重物品能保管的完整。

This is a beautiful three-layered bookshelf that scholars in the Joseon Dynasty used to store books in their Sarang-chae (rooms for receiving guests and studying). Each tier has double-hinged doors.
Each level has paired hinged doors. The sides and back are made of lattice doors with relatively wide intervals, reminiscent of the traditional Korean-fit windows seen in hanoks (Korean traditional house).
Behind the lattice, instead of the typical wooden panels used in regular furniture, it is covered with hanji, allowing air circulation similar to traditional Korean house doors. This enables effective ventilation, preventing valuable items such as books from damage due to humidity or mold.
It is a luxurious item that is presumed to have been used by the upper class, including scholars, as a practical and beautiful cultural heritage reflecting the wisdom and elegance of the ancestors.
