북송 정요(定窑)에서 제작된 것으로 구연부가 작고 목이 가늘고 길며 호리병 모양처럼 울퉁불퉁하고, 몸체가 둥글게 부풀어 있는 병입니다. 전체적으로 흰색 유약이 칠해져 있으며, 목 양쪽에는 좌우 대칭으로 손잡이가 붙어 있고 몸통에는 빨간색, 초록색, 갈색으로 참새 두 마리가 매화 가지 위에 서 있는 모습이 첩화되어 있습니다.
굽 바닥에는 황실 도자를 생산한 가마를 뜻하는 관지인 '官(관)'자가 음각되어 있습니다.

该瓶制造于北宋定窑。小口，颈细长，头部呈葫芦瓶状，腹部圆鼓。
通体施白釉，颈两侧对称贴双耳。腹部用贴花技法以红、绿、褐三色饰两只麻雀立于梅花枝头的样子。
底足阴刻"官"款识，意为生产皇室陶瓷的"官窑"。

This vase has an ovoid body surmounted by a long, bumpy neck terminating in a narrow mouth.
The surface is covered overall with a white glaze, and the neck is flanked by a pair of symmetrical handles.
The body is applied with green sparrows sitting on brown branches with red plum blossoms. The base is incised with a character reading guan, meaning the kiln for imperial ceramics.
