이 금동 불상(金銅佛像)은 삼국시대에 제작된 소형 좌상으로, 화려한 광배(光背)와 섬세한 조각이 특징입니다.
불상은 결가부좌(結跏趺坐)의 자세로 앉아 있으며, 오른손을 가슴 높이로 들어 시무외인(施無畏印)을 취하고 있습니다. 머리 뒤에는 화염문을 간략화한 삼각형 광배가 표현되어 있어 신성과 권위를 강조합니다. 양어깨를 감싼 통견식(通肩式) 착의와 무릎 아래로 흘러내리는 유려한 의문(衣紋)은 입체적인 미감을 형성합니다.
대좌는 복련(覆蓮)형 연화좌(蓮華座)로, 전체적인 안정감을 줍니다.
금 도금(鍍金)의 흔적이 부분적으로 남아 있어 당초의 장엄한 외관을 짐작하게 하며, 삼국시대 불상의 특징인 균형 잡힌 비례, 힘 있는 조형, 섬세한 묘사를 잘 보여줍니다.

The Buddha sits in the lotus posture with the right hand raised to chest level in the abhaya mudra (施無畏印), symbolizing fearlessness. Behind the head, a triangular halo simplified from a flame motif enhances the figure’s divine presence and authority. Wearing a robe in the tonggyeon-sik (通肩式) style that covers both shoulders, the garment flows gracefully below the knees. The dynamic drapery creates a strong sense of three-dimensional form.
The pedestal is a lotus base in the inverted lotus style, contributing to a sense of visual stability.
