이 금동불상(金銅佛像)은 삼국시대의 정제된 조형미와 온화한 표정이 특징입니다. 불교의 전래와 함께 신앙 실천이 확산되던 시기의 흐름을 반영하여, 이러한 소형 불상은 불감(佛龕)이나 휴대용 예불(禮佛) 목적으로 추정됩니다.
이 불상은 머리에 지혜를 상징하는 육계(肉髻)가 표현되어 있으며, 둥근 얼굴과 반개안(半開眼)의 시선은 지긋이 아래를 향하고 있어 자비희사(慈悲喜捨)의 불교적 미감을 잘 드러냅니다.
착의는 가슴을 넓게 드러낸 통견식(通肩式)이며 대칭적으로 흐르는 유려한 의문(衣紋)은 안정된 형식미를 보여줍니다. 불룩하게 조성된 복부는 삼국시대 불상 양식의 한 흐름으로, 풍요와 생명력의 상징으로 해석됩니다. 옷 주름은 정연하고 섬세하게 표현되어 조형성과 함께 당시 도공의 숙련도를 엿보게 합니다.
오른손은 시무외인(施無畏印), 왼손은 여원인(與願印)을 취하여 중생을 보호하고 소원을 성취하게 하는 의미를 담고 있습니다.
대좌(臺座)는 복련(覆蓮)형 위에 단을 올린 구조로, 연꽃 봉오리처럼 둥근 융기를 이룹니다.
후면이 비어 있는 중공식(中空式) 주조 기법으로 제작되었으며, 외면에는 금 도금(鍍金)이 시공되어 화려함과 신성함을 더하고 있습니다.

此金铜佛像展现了朝鲜三国时代精致的造型美与温和的面容，体现出佛教传入朝鲜半岛初期，信仰实践逐渐扩散的历史背景。这类小型佛像多被推测用于佛龛供奉或随身礼佛之用。
佛像头部刻有象征智慧的肉髻，面部圆润，双目半睁、视线低垂，呈现出慈悲、喜舍的佛教美学意境。
法衣为敞胸式通肩袈裟，衣纹对称流畅，展示出稳定而优雅的形式美。略显鼓起的腹部是朝鲜三国时期佛像风格的特征之一，被视为富饶与生命力的象征。衣褶表现精细有序，显示出当时工匠高超的技艺。
右手施无畏印，象征驱除恐惧；左手与愿印，代表满足众生的愿望，寓意佛陀护佑众生、普施慈悲。
佛像所立之台座为覆莲式，上部加筑平台，形状宛如含苞待放的莲花。
本像采用中空铸造法，背面中空，外部施以镀金工艺，增添了视觉上的华丽感与宗教的神圣性。

This gilt-bronze Buddha statue exemplifies the refined aesthetics and gentle expression characteristic of the Three Kingdoms period. Reflecting the spread of Buddhist practice following the religion’s introduction, such small-scale statues are presumed to have been used in portable shrines or for private devotional practices.
The Buddha’s head bears a usnisa (肉髻, yukgye), symbolizing wisdom, and the round face with half-open eyes gazing downward conveys a serene Buddhist ideal of compassion, joy, and equanimity.
The robe, of the tonggyeon-sik (通肩式) style, reveals a broad chest and flows symmetrically in elegant folds, expressing visual balance. The slightly bulging abdomen reflects a stylistic trend in Three Kingdoms Buddhist sculpture, interpreted as a symbol of abundance and vitality. The robe folds are rendered with precision and delicacy, showcasing both aesthetic quality and the craftsmanship of the sculptor.
The statue’s right hand displays the abhaya mudra (施無畏印), while the left shows the varada mudra (與願印), symbolizing protection and the granting of wishes to devotees.
The pedestal is structured with a raised platform atop an inverted lotus base, forming a rounded shape reminiscent of a lotus bud.
This statue was made using the hollow casting technique, leaving the back hollow. Its surface was gilded, adding a sense of brilliance and sanctity.
