조선 전기에 제작된 분청자음각화문편병(粉靑磁陰刻花文扁甁)입니다. 양쪽 면이 납작하게 눌린 편형의 병으로, 휴대성과 독창적인 조형미를 함께 갖춘 도자기입니다.
구연부는 외반하고, 짧은 목은 곧게 내려옵니다. 어깨에서 동체 중간까지 둥글게 부풀었다가 하단으로 갈수록 서서히 좁아져 안정된 비례감을 보입니다.
어깨를 따라 연판문대(蓮瓣文帶)가 시문되어 있으며, 그 아래에는 복선(複線)이 가로로 그어져 화면을 구획하고 있습니다. 동체 전면과 후면에는 큼직하고 도톰한 잎사귀 문양이 음각(陰刻)되어 있고, 유연하게 흐르는 줄기 표현과 어우러져 전체적으로 활달하고 생동감 있는 인상을 줍니다. 측면에는 점 무늬가 촘촘히 채워져 구성에 시각적 변화를 더합니다.
전체 표면은 정제된 백토를 바르는 분장기법(粉粧技法)으로 처리되었으며, 유약이 고르게 시유되어 본체 전체에 맑은 광택을 띠고 있습니다.

器物制造于朝鲜前期，瓶体两侧扁平，兼具便携性与独特的造型美感。
瓶口外撇，短直颈。肩部至腹部中段圆润鼓起，底部逐渐收窄，整体比例协调，造型稳重。
瓶肩部饰有莲瓣纹带，下方以双线横向划分画面层次。瓶身正反两面阴刻有硕大而厚实的叶形纹样，搭配自然流畅的枝蔓线条，营造出生动活泼的视觉效果。瓶身两侧密布点状纹饰，为整体构图增添了视觉变化。
通体以精炼白陶土施以粉妆技法处理，并均匀施釉，使器身呈现出清透光亮的釉面效果。

This flattened buncheong bottle with incised floral patterns was made in early Joseon. With its pressed, flat sides, it combines portability with distinctive sculptural appeal.
The mouth flares outward, with a short, straight neck. The body swells gently below the shoulder and gradually narrows toward the base, achieving a sense of stable proportion.
A lotus petal band decorates the shoulder, followed by double horizontal lines that divide the space visually. The front and back of the body feature large, thickly incised leaf motifs. These are paired with fluidly carved stems, creating a lively and dynamic impression. The sides are filled with densely arranged dot patterns that add visual variation.
The entire surface was treated using the bunjang technique, in which refined white slip is applied, and the glaze is evenly coated, giving the piece a clear, luminous sheen.
